Lily Dale
My sister, her husband and I spent five days in Lily Dale, NY during the first week of August. They had been once before. I had never been. For those of you who don’t know, Lily Dale , “…the world’s largest assembly for the Science Philosophy and Religion of Spiritualism,” is a spiritualist community tucked away in northwest New York state. Lily Dale is charming. Our first night we attended a three hour class by John White on Remote Viewing. All I can say is “WOW.” What an interesting and amazing class. We were able to practice this technique and witness the incredible accuracy first-hand. John White is an excellent teacher and speaker. If you get a chance to see him or have a session with him, jump on the opportunity!
I also had a reading with medium, Bonnie White. Bonnie is a lovely woman who creates a charcoal spirit art drawing while connecting to spirit on your behalf. This is truly a unique experience. The images that come through are astonishing. People who are definitely recognizable to me are present in my drawing. Animals, angelic presences, spirit guides and more. The other amazing thing is that each time I look at the drawing I seem to see something new.
My last reading was with medium, Lynn Wiltsie. Lynn seems genuine and caring and is very up front. Her reading was pretty much spot on. My mom and dad came through, each with a concern or comment or two, and the session was an enlightening and rewarding experience.
Lily Dale is small. There are a couple of shops and places to eat (you’ve GOT to stop in at Cup A Joe Cafe & Bakery-their lavender shortbread cookies are to die for!-pun intended!). But the main reason to visit Lily Dale is to experience the peace and beauty of the area and to take part in the healing and connection with spirit and like-minded individuals.
